These two videos show the dramatic improvements that a student has made during the Mechanics class. The top video was recorded at the beginning of the Mechanics class. Like most players, this student had never been taught what the key requirements of good mechanics are, nor about a shooting sequence. With no fault of her own, her mechanics and shooting sequence were very poor and her success at pocketing balls was very low. Without changes, her game would not improve. The bottom video was recorded towards the end of the Mechanics class. After learning about the key requirements of good mechanics and the shooting sequence, and with guidance from the instructors, the student developed good mechanics and an consistent shooting sequence.
